God's Word- Living and Active: My Cup Runneth Over

Tonight Shane was up at the church working with other men on the new building.  While eating dinner, I asked the kids to please pick up while I was upstairs in my room doing laundry and nursing Lander.  I came downstairs almost an hour later to all the kids diligently working hard and the house practically spotless upstairs and down and the vacuum going.  I was so proud of them!  It wasn't until the next morning that I saw this piece of paper sitting on the bar. - A list of things to do made by them, along with God's Word, a verse, to spur them on.  God's Word as their charge to get their heart right, with the right attitude and mindset, and focused on how to glorify Him in their work!  My cup runneth over.

His promise.

This was taken right outside my parent's house.  The kids and I were doing schoolwork inside while living here during the renovations of our new home.  My mom returned from running errands and beckoned us to come outside to view God's glory on display; His promises.  God comforted me and filled me in this moment.

When God Spared Caleb

We almost lost our Caleb.  It was a scary time.  And yet, God's peace in the moment was overwhelmingly and indescribably present in Shane and me.  This moment, of Caleb holding Lander, was Caleb's first smile in two days!

Tender Hearts For God

On our first morning of school, the boys all awoke and initiated their own time in God's Word while having breakfast.  Praising God for the work He is doing in their tender malleable hearts and for their desire to know Him more and become more like Him!  A mother couldn't ask for more.
